from art exhibitions, opening private events, conferences, music and events around London.
This is my event photography portfolio with a mixture of photography techniques and a photojournalism eye on it.
Two weekends ago we went down to Bristol -again-. As a travel guide stated about Bristol: ‘If England has a funky city, then it’s Bristol. A historic port with a wealth of normal tourist attractions, it’s also one of Britain’s most ethnically mixed cities, one of its major college towns…’
This time we went up to The Clifton Suspension Bridge around night time, taking a boat for a trip around the Floating Harbour and stay around outside until late despite the cold weather.

Last Saturday -28th November ’09- I had attend
‘Edmond Terakopian photo workshop’, it was great inspiring day, with few tips, bits and fun with the usual suspects around.
I wasn’t planning to go to this workshop, two reason; first as I don’t have much free time around; and second, the workshop was about photojournalism, a field that I love, have studied for a year, and I was working as one for a while..
Despite that, and not having a great week – I was fighting with computers and hard drives all the week around-
Ian Battersby couldn’t come so he offer me his ticket -thanks Ian!!. It was a great day.
Glad to see
Paul ,
Antje,
Carlo and more friends around.
We are out for two hours taking pictures, and I get myself in the mood to just use my 85mm f1.8 lens – which I use to time to time-, sometimes it was hard just to use just 85mm but I came up with nice pictures.
This picture was my submission for the street photography assignment on the workshop:
‘Open’ ?! really, it doesn’t look very open to me

A big thanks to
Edmond for a great workshop and
Ghene to organize it

Few more pictures under ‘street photography’ :

Banksy, the world-renowned graffiti artist made famous by his controversial street art paintings, has returned to his hometown of Bristol to hold an official exhibition of his work, titled Banksy vs Bristol Museum.
This exclusive show features his famous stencil street art along with installations, animatronics, sculptures and an impressive sensory display. The exhibition was planned in secret, with only a handful of museum staff and event organisers kept in the loop, and features over 70 pieces of new and previously unseen art.
Banksy vs Bristol Museum was running from 13 June until 31 August 2009.
